
The 2025 Bucerius Summer School focused on the urgent need to adapt our global governance systems to the increasing complexity and disorder in our world. It gave the participants the opportunity to discuss these topics with leading politicians.
Highlights
Participants in the 2025 Bucerius Summer School had the opportunity to engage in high-level discussions with notable figures, such as Niels Annen, State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The program provided diverse perspectives on global issues, including a panel on Israel and Gaza, complemented by a talk on International Jurisdiction. One of the cultural highlights was attending an inspiring concert at the iconic Elbphilharmonie. Additionally, participants discussed arts and culture at the European Hansemuseum with Felicia Sternfeld, the managing director of the European Hansemuseum Lübeck and president of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) Germany.
